@ : reneemona : thanks for the suggestion, I guess you read it on "the january dutch challenge"... Btw it seems that sprachprofi was the only one to write in dutch... how did she do at the language conference btw?
@ : tournesol : thank you so much for correcting my post !!!!!!! you have no idea !! People here are so much accustomed to the fact that everybody writes in English (since it's de facto the lingua franca) that English speakers dont bother anymore to correct "our posts" !! Btw, I planned to improve my English as well...
@ : mirab@lla : thanks for the tip!! btw, it's funny, because I do have a romanian penfriend, actually Lavinia (also from HTLAL) and she knows these two cartoons as well... I guess they were aired on romanian tv quite a lot !!!
As for dialogs stuff, well, it's a bit hard to find some... For some reasons I'm not that pleased with the Assimil book for romanian and I couldnt find something really useful... still searching... but I confirm: "room 402" is really hard to follow!!

Oui, j'ai aussi connu Lavinia, et elle est un fille trés sympa qui me aide avec le français, maintenant je utilise une tastature française et je ne peux pas trouver que je veux, par example, le point

I finally found a romanian radio which works !!
romanian radio
Actually, I dont expect being fluent in the language within two months !! BTW I'm late according to my schedule!!!
Stay tuned!
I'm still looking for some romanian dialogs (simple ones) with English translation (french trans. welcome!) with audio... Seems it's a bit hard to find !

So, there is no "gehoord" !! :))) I do remember the sounds!! I just made a mistake withe the first part: "hoe gaat het met je" an not "hoe maakt u het"... |

Well, the gehoord wasn't necessary anyway. I only added it to make the sentence fit with the rest of the passage. Without it the sentence is still grammatically correct but it just doesn't make any sense.

I thought she did really well. She even had a bit of a Flemish accent! She made me feel embarrassed to have studied German for three years and still not being able to speak it half as well as she speaks Dutch. ;-)

@ reneemona : Well... The sentence comes directly from a book wich is supposed to help you learn dutch !!! So, I dont know if it doesnt sound dutch !! :))) Actually, translating into French, that sounds good... But, I wont delve into these considerations, otherwise I may as well shut the book ! ::))
Still going on with the "old" method: listening, repeating, learning by heart and then carving these big texts into my little brain !! I'm focusing on the "music" of the language... We'll see!

Today :
x listen to greek (sentences to listen and to repeat)
-> actually , I'm converting all my "old" audiotapes to mp3 files (so, it takes time!)
x reading : reviewed all my greek sentences by reading instead of listening
x 15 min listening : Deutsche Welle
x 15 min listening : Romanian radio

- if anyone does know a website where I can find some greek songs (lyrics included!) thanks a lot...
- still working on dutch... I read some of the conversation between ellasevia and reneemona and I should say I'm far from it even if I do understand at least the gist of it...
