I'm in for Spanish! I know lots of people did that one last time, but I'm a newbie here!

The challenge starts on August 1st and runs until September 12th, both at
midnight your time (the bot has a grace period to accommodate participants coming from
different time zones). That means that on the last day of July, stay up until it's
August 1st where you live, and then start studying your target language like crazy!
Haha I'd do that but I'm getting back the 31st from a 3 day camping/climbing trip so I'll probably be sleeping a ton the first few days. And then it's comeback time! Signing up as soon as twitter works properly for me.

If there'll be a challenge in the fall, I'd strongly consider using it for Latvian or Northern Saami. :-)

I will be learning Italian for the August 6 Week Challenge. I have had resources for Italian since December and I have already begun learning Italian, so I will wait until a later 6WC to begin French.

I'd like to join!

Since we can do our own languages, I'd like to do Norwegian. I have a friend at my school who is Norwegian,
and he's really nice! :D We've spoken before (me using my rudimentary Swedish), so I think it'd be a great
opportunity to start a new language that I have little to no experience in, and bring it to a higher level :D! I'm
going to go and look on UZ Translations, and perhaps Amazon for some materials.

BTW starting on August 1st gives me a month, enough to get four weeks of study before school! :D
