I'll probably do it again in August, as it was a huge boost for my Hindi, but I think my Hindi will be well past low intermediate; this summer, my husband and I are doing an hour of French a day with Michel Thomas & some other methods, and my Chinese is past low-intermediate... sigh! I may look to Russian or Thai... we'll see what ends up being picked, if I can tag along with it.

I'm in for Scots Gaelic. Should be very interesting. I'm at a beginner's level, as I once began the study of Irish Gaelic, but stopped shortly into it and haven't picked it up since. Look forward to competing with you all!

I'm brand new here, but I would love to try this. I think I will do Spanish, since I missed the last challenge and it's the one I want to learn most. I started learning it a couple years ago, but got sidetracked by something and never picked it back up again. How often do you all do these? Can't wait!

I have ordered my French books! None of them have tracking numbers, which upsets me a little. I've also found a bunch of French movies on Netfilx, so that I can watch one a day(two on a few days). There weren't really any for children, so I also picked out some that I've been wanting to see that are dubbed and I can watch them in the original then French. They're all on DVD though, so I'll still be watching some harder movies from the beginning. I tried to order them from what I least want to understand to what I most want to understand. Should be interesting to see how much more I understand by the end.

I'm in for either German or French... I might let the poll decide!

Well, in the end, German drew ahead by 3 votes. I still think we should do German and
French though, because it was a really tough race between the two.

Full results can be seen here.

Since I already speak German and French, I will go for Indonesian and according to the
poll, there may even be 5 people joining me :-)   We'll see. The next step is modifying
the bot. I will post here when the bot is ready. It will probably be close to the start
date, because I'll be at the Internacia Junulara Kongreso in Ukraine until the 21st of
July.
