I've come up with my tentative plan for this year.

For those of us who try to participate in every 6WC, there are roughly 6 weeks between
each challenge, giving us a pattern of 6 weeks on - 6 weeks off. In parenthesis I've
written what I plan to do with my 6 weeks between the challenges.

February - Esperanto - 0 to B2
(6 weeks German - B1/B2 to B2/C1)
May - Spanish - B1 to B2
(6 weeks continuing Spanish to B2)
August - French - 0 to B1
(6 weeks continuing French to B1/B2)

The last few months of the year will be spent maintaining and improving these
languages. I plan to leave Japan around October or November, and am not sure of my
plans after that, so I may not be able to participate in November.

I have no idea about November or August yet, but they won't be Russian by that time I think. May will definitely be French, unless my placement test puts me in B2 or something. If French is ruled out, May will revert to Russian again.

I'll have to do Japanese again. I am obviously still only low intermediate. My active Greek is now way superior, showing up the weakness of my Japanese. So Japanese it will have to be, to finally get it pushed up into intermediate proper.

Who else is already starting to think of the next challenge? I am but mostly because of the Euro 2012. The list of the possibilities is still huge, but I suppose Irish, Czech, Greek and Swedish are all unlikely, meaning that I'll probably be doing the 6WC in a language I'm already learning :)
I'm personally hoping for Old Russian, Croatian or Italian. German remains likely...

For the November challenge I'm thinking of Danish, Croatian or Belarusian now, but this might change.

We have to wait for November now? that's a long time...

I'm focusing on German and Italian for the rest of the summer, so maybe I will do Croatian with you in the fall. =)

EDIT: I might do Indonesian if I could find a cheap copy of the Assimil book, but that's rather unlikely. =(

The next one is in August. It's 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off.

August is Hebrew for sure.

November could be either Hebrew or Russian.
