A "polyglot job" offered to me!
The job interview today was very interesting, it's a job for polyglots which the company offers to me. They didn't only want to know my levels of English and Dutch (which is normal for me in job interviews) but they wanted to know the language levels of all of my languages. I asked them whether they were familiar with the European Framework of Languages and they said "yes", so I quoted them my languages levels like I do this here in the forum: Dutch - C2, English - C1, and so on... They were also interested in my Danish, even if it's still on a A1/A2 - level now, but I told them that I have long-term plans with further study of this language (see my TAC log title).
In the first days of next week I will be informed about the result of this application procedure.
PS: It's a kind of job where you have to switch between languages speaking with customers from different countries - my polyglot Skypings are an excellent training for this.

That is great!!! I am so happy for you, Fasulye! Goes to show that everthing you learn in life will come in handy some time.
I cannot imagine anyone better qualified for that kind of job (in fact you are probably way too qualified, but that is another matter). They must be over the moon to get someone like you. If you like the way it turns out, you are set, and if after a while you feel it is too repetetive, it will be very useful to have a job like that on your CV to prove that you are someone who can do lots of languages.
Congratulations!!

CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN, FASULYE!!! I knew you would get that job. They would have to be idiots not to take you on.
I hope you'll love it, and if you don't, that it will serve as a stepping stone for something you like even more.
Big hug from Cristina

Thanks a lot for your congratulations, I am very motivated to start my new job. The technical training will probably be in German and the first weeks of work as well, but there I will have all possibilities to expand the work to using some of my foreign languages.
