Idk about others but I myself don't always post my updates on the same day. Today I've posted updates from the previous two days.
I actually think some mindblowing activities deserve to be counted double. Like using the expert mode at lyricstraining - it's more than just being 100% concentrated while listening to a song and reading the lyrics. Yet being 100% concentrated already counts as 100%.
I myself don't do that, but I'd not judge anyone who counts that as double. I just have an "omg" tag instead.

I was just going to say what Serpent said. Some people update from previous days. Personally I would get
confused if I did that, but some people prefer it or maybe don't have a choice sometimes (can't get to a
computer, etc.) I know that happened to me for a previous challenge because I was in a foreign country and
didn't bring my laptop with me. Had to wait till I could go to the library..

I'm impressed by all those that can spend 5+ hours per day, every day. Congrats!

It is impressive. Then again, Arguelles ranges between 12-14 hours of study per day.
Watch out for the Finnish group; there are two that will try to get in 45 hours of study
in just the last week of this month; high intensity is necessary for L-R.

Then yet again, Arguelles didn't have to bloody discount his hours before he told us them.

I meant no offense, just reminding doubters that it is possible to spend an insane amount
of time on language study, all while having a family and two kids, if you get up at 4am
and live like a monk.
Quote:
A typical daily regime: writing and reading in Arabic, then writing at least two
pages each of Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Latin, followed by reading Persian and writing
two pages of Russian grammar before composing in Latin, doing grammatical exercises in
Turkish, trying out a bit of Swahili, and reviewing Irish conversational dialogues...

No offense taken and no offense meant. I was scratching my head out loud and got some good answers.
I guess I need to sell off two of my kids, I get up at those hours or close but have to prep lunch boxes, get kids to school and work - my days of 20 hours of anything are gone.
hmm, or stop posting here.
Sincere congrats to all of those that can pull those hours. Motivating.

Actually, these are good points, since all that is included to differentiate is whether one works full-time or not. As we know, having children is like having another job. I don't have children, and it's hard enough to find time for this. I commend those of you who do both.
