Although my German isn't good enough to read the original German, I'd recommend Radetzkymarsch by Joseph
Roth. It's about the fall of the Habsburg Empire and it's nearly a forgotten masterpiece in the English speaking world
but it's seriously one of the 5 best novels I've ever read and one of the main reasons I'm learning German. It's a slow
burn, but it's incredible.

Hallo zusammen.

Could you suggest me any good book/short story/fairy tell available online for an A1/A2
level? It´s to expand my vocabulary but if it´s funny and/or engaging too, that could do
even better :)

Andre Klein has a series of books written for beginners- potentially as early as A2,
maybe even A1- a series of Krimis and a choose your own adventure style book.

They're available in the U.S. Amazon kindle store, although I don't know about Italy.
