Hi Bbcatcher! I must say I envy you. I like BCS better than Russian, but I decided to
start with Russian because I really need it for further studies as well as for
literature. I hope you benefit from learning both of them, hope you can create a synergy.
I'm here at Team Mir and I'd be glad to help with suggestions for further resources once
you've finished TY.

Szia!
Azt hittem, hogy a jäŋe /*ledús csapatban is vagy? Ha vagy ebben a csapatban, isten hozott! Sok sikert a magyar nyelvvel (a többi nyelvekkel is)!
Hi
I thought you were in the jäŋe /*ledús team too? If so, then welcome to the team! Good luck with your Hungarian (and the other languages too)!

Wow thank you all! I have not checked my thread in a while, as I just have forgotten. I will post now, with
some updates.
I pretty much have not touched too much Dutch as of lately, unfortunately... However, I have used Hungarian,
Croatian, and Russian out in public. I have gone to a Hungarian and Bosnian shop around me, and we spoke
for just a little in the each language. As for Russian, I have spoken once to a native, and she said that my
pronunciation was very good, for just starting the language. I have ordered some Hungarian books, including
Teach Yourself and Assimil. I am still waiting for the Assimil to come in, but I think it is coming from the UK.
Besides those few occurrences, I have been trying to type each of the languages to people (besides
Russian), pretty much on a daily basis.

I also have forgotten to put this in my last post...
I still am getting my Russian and BCS confused. These two languages are very similar in some aspects.
However, I am able to get over these similarities, because they are just enough to make the difference where
I do not notice too much.

Hello all!
I saw this in someone's log, and I thought I would borrow the idea. In this post, I
will outline my goals for the month.
BCS
I hope to go through a few chapters in each of my books. I will also be attempting at
least a 5 minute conversation with my co-worker in BCS ONLY! I also will be trying to
type to friends only in BCS, and even might start a book.
Magyar
Along with BCS, I am hoping to complete a few chapters in each book. Also, I will try
to write as much as possible and speak for at least 10 minutes in only Magyar.
Russian
Again, like before, I am hoping to finish a few chapters in each of my books.
Unfortunately to contact the person I know to speak some Russian to will be hard to
contact, so I may not be able to practice. However, if I do, I hope I am able to to
speak for 5 or so minutes.
Overall
At the end of this month, I am hoping to produce a video and upload to Youtube of me
speaking these languages. This will be hard for me, as I will have to get over the
shyness factor, and just do it! But I am hoping I am able to get over this fact, and
can actually use these languages to a level where I can speak!
Thanks for reading!
