Aww nice videos, everyone!
Tollpatchig, you like Sailor Moon? ;)
As for winning... if you stay on track throughout the year, you win :) And you get a winner's badge if your team wins the voting or you win it in an individual category.
Via Diva, I know that kujichagulia also wanted to join this team. |

Sorry for such a late reply but yes! I love Sailor Moon. I haven't seen all of it (never got a chance to see the remaining Sailor Scouts) but it's one of my favorites right next to Death Note. I don't like the English dub so I'm hoping that maybe Funimation or someone will re-dub it and undo the shame of 4Kids.

Hey I filmed a video really quickly for this as well, I might take it down though, I'm
not the most outgoing person I must admit :p
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zT_vEu9VKfs
It was sort of off the cuff so I forgot to mention that that year I'd like to spend in
France will be 2015/16 so that's why I want to learn French. And I should have
mentioned that my plan is to take a Spanish exam in Cervantes institute this May, be it
A2 or B1.
I'll write up a more detailed review of my goals when I read some other people's more
and get a feel for how I should lay it out in the OP of my log when I start it.
If the video sucks tell me :p

Video is ok and I really don't know what you are afraid of. You could make one with pics just like I did, but if you already have this, you shouldn't delete that. Just imagine how newbies in 2014, 2015 and so on will be directed in this thread to look how one should get into TAC :)

Thanks.
I realized that I still don't have an introduction. Here is a quick one:
My name is kujichagulia. I've been studying Japanese ever since I moved to Japan 10 1/2 years ago, although I didn't really start studying it until around May of 2012. I also started my log at the same time (the link to the first log is on that first post), and with the help and motivation of HTLALers like yourselves, I was able to move from high beginner or very low intermediate to a more mid-intermediate level in 1 1/2 years.
Of course, Japanese is a... well, I won't say it's a difficult language for English speakers, but rather it takes more time than, say, Spanish. In any case, I need all the motivation I can get as I make a push to improve my Japanese to high intermediate or even low advanced. That is why I joined Team STARt. I still have not learned a second language to basic fluency. I'm closest in Japanese, and that is the only language I need, so I want Japanese to be my first second language.
<applause>
Why, thank you. You are too kind. Thank you. Thank you. <bows>
