It's ribbon time!
You may have noticed that certain forum users have things like TAC Winner 2012 under their names. This is much harder to do that it should be, unfortunately.
This is the thread for letting us know that somebody has earned a Blue Ribbon. Here's how this will work:
1. Right now, we only handle ribbons for TAC Winners and people who finish Super Challenges. If you're organizing a major, significant challenge, please talk to the moderators.
2. Ribbons are only available once per year or so, and only if there's a moderator who's willing to do the work. I don't want any future moderators to feel obliged to tackle this; it's much more annoying than it ought to be.
3. To give out a ribbon, we'll need several things:
a. The exact HTLAL username of the user who earned the ribbon. We don't want to guess between three similar accounts and then go back and fix it later. :-)
b. What challenge the user completed, and it what year. For the Super Challenge, see this post for details. This is so we actually give you the right ribbon. :-)
c. Some way for us to confirm eligibility. For the TAC, this can be a link to the official results thread. For the Super Challenge, it can either be a link to the official results thread, or a link to a list of all the things you read and watched. This is so we can sort out any confusion about years, teams, or whatever.
Here's an example:
User: emk
Challenge: Super Challenge 2012/2013, 2 diamonds
Confirmation: http://www.languagechallenge.surrealix.com/participant.php?u sername=emk_langs (currently offline) or http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?T ID=37887&PN=1 (official results)
If you're a challenge organizer, feel free to make one big post listening everybody, with user names and ribbon details. You can include a single confirmation link for everyone. If you're a participant, please feel free to post your own information. The closer you stick to the standard format, the easier it will be for us.
Thank you to everybody who has organized or participated in a challenge, and thank you for making it easy for the moderators to give out ribbons!
EDIT: Some procedure changes.

I've completed a half super challenge 2012/2013 movies only. I am not sure if that amounts to any blue ribbon.
Confirmation: http://www.languagechallenge.surrealix.com/2013/participant. php?username=Patattte (I've only done the Spanish one, the French one was done by my special someone but he is not on the forum)
