Hope everyone is doing well with their personal goals. I'm off to a rocky start having lost some time to unexpected long hours at work. But I did take yesterday off to catch up, and have 3 more additional personal days off this month so that I can have extra study hours.
My progress:
Goal 1. Assimil NFWE - 30 lessons.
Progress: I'm 1 lesson behind. Currently finished lesson 39 of the first wave. No issues, I'll catch up on the next day a review level comes along.
Goal 2. French vocabulary - 500 new words.
Progress: I have 113 cards in my April challenge deck so far. On track. There is plenty of incentive to learn them quickly so that the cards become less frequent!
Goal 3. FSI Basic French - units 1 and 2.
Progress: I will start on unit 1 tonight, and spend my personal days off with this.
Goal 4. Hugo French in 3 months - finish this, 8 more weekly lessons to do.
Progress: I'm a bit behind. I still have 5 1/2 weeks remaining. I'm slow because I like to do lots of review. I'll make it.
Goal 5. Schedule sessions with tutor during the last week of April.
Progress: I'm kind of nervous about this already. I'm not sure I'll feel ready to "speak".

That is fine with me, but I can no longer edit the second list of participants. I'll make a third list anyway for the newcomers, and put your revised challenge there.

I know you'll hate me for it, but can I also add something to my challenge?
- Identify and learn 100 Russian words from an Agatha Christie book?

Update:
I have now read the following chapters from Teach Yourself Russian grammar - just about the only grammar
which works for me:
From the last update:
April 1st: Lesson 27 (genetive plural)
April 2nd. Lesson 39 and 40 (adverbs)
New material:
April 8th:
Chapter 15 (instrumental, sing. nouns)
16,( instrumental plural, nouns)
17 (prepositional sing. nouns)
30(instr. sing. adjectives)
31 ( instr, plur. adject)
32 (prepos. sing. adj,)
April 9th:
18 ( prepos. plur. nouns)
33 (prepos. plur. adj)
3 (gender of nouns)
4 ( nominative sing. nouns)
5 ( nominative plur. nouns)
20 ( adjectives : unstressed)
21( adjectives: stressed and soft)
I now know what an overdose of Russian grammar feels like :-)

I'm also posting updates in my log, but I'm overly enthusiastic, so I'll update here occasionally, too. :)
1) Complete Michel Thomas Speak French Language Booster - 0/2 disc done. Still finishing up Speak French for Beginners.
2) 10 more skills in Duolingo - 7/10 done! Since the start of the month I've completed Clothing, Colours, Verbs: Present 1, Questions, Verbs: Present 2, Adjectives 2, and Conjunctions. Next up, to complete my goal, are Prepositions, Pronouns, and Verbs: Present 3.
3) Add to Anki all the words I don't know from a French children's book I got from the library (PĂ©tunia, princesse des pets) - 2.5/15 pages done. So, a little behind. I decided to enter whole sentences instead of words. It's been forcing me to learn the imparfait de l'indicatif and plus-que-parfait de l'indicatif tenses, which is good!
Duolingo is the best thing ever for keeping me studying. No matter how busy I am, I MUST do at least one lesson, because I couldn't stand to break my streak! :)
