Permettez-moi de vous présenter mon progrès.

Goal 1. Assimil NFWE - do 30 lessons.
11/30 lessons done for month. Actual level is 45.

Goal 2. French vocabulary - 500 new words.
~210 words. OMG, this is a major grind! How does that saying go? What does not kill you, makes you stronger?

Goal 3. FSI Basic French - units 1 and 2.
Halfway through unit 1. Loving FSI in a serious way.

Goal 4. Hugo French in 3 months.
Finished week 8 of 12. 4 more to go. This is a bit of a grind too.

Goal 5. Schedule sessions with tutor during the last week of April.
I guess I better start looking.

Sunday afternoon update:

1. About 135/300 French words studied. By the 15th that should be over 150, so I'm on target there.

2. 8/20 Assimil lessons. Lessons 92-99. A bit behind, but there's more than enough time to complete this goal.

Friday night update:

1. 200/300 words learnt. Hopefully I can beat my goal by a good margin... but I am tiring of the pace!
2. 12/20 Assimil lessons, lessons 92-103. Going very well.

It's fun when different things you study support each other. One day this week I got 4 new words in my vocabulary list that then appeared in my Assimil lesson for the day!

I'm falling a bit behind. I may have bitten off too much for the month. I looks like I will finish 4 of 5 goals.

Goal 1. Assimil NFWE - do 30 lessons.
On track, no issues. Finished level 53 this afternoon.

Goal 2. French vocabulary - 500 new words.
This is where I'm falling down. I don't think I'll make this. I suspect I'll come in around 350-400, and that much is killing me.

Goal 3. FSI Basic French - units 1 and 2.
Only half of unit 2 remaining.   FSI is great! I will definitely be finishing all 24 units this year.

Goal 4. Hugo French in 3 months.
Half way through week 10, so 2.5 to go. I'll finish it.

Goal 5. Schedule sessions with tutor during the last week of April.
I'll be searching for a tutor tomorrow.

There's just one week to go now! How has your challenge been going? Here's the latest on my challenge:

Wednesday evening update:

1. 280/300 words learnt. Another day or so to hit my goal.
2. 15/20 Assimil lessons, lessons 92-106. Still going well, but I realized this evening that there are only 7 days left in April, and I have 7 lessons left to finish the book. So it's a lesson a day for the next week! Yes, I'll finish my challenge if I complete 5 lessons, but I don't want to be at the beginning of the Super Challenge with two measly lessons hanging over my head.

My Swedish vocabulary learning hasn’t succeeded as planned. I’ve managed to get to 120 active, and around 300 passive. I blame my lack of success on Mr.Gwynne. He published a Latin primer that was prominently displayed in a lot of book shops. I caved and purchased it, which means Latin is firmly on my radar now.
