I've been listening to Talk To Me In Korea's Iagi series to practice my listening. There are over 100 episodes now and they're excellent and you can even download free transcripts. They've recently added a new twist, just a few episodes now, where they provide the Korean text simultaneously with the audio, so that you can read the text as you're listening. It's a step beyond a transcript, because the text is synced to appear as each words is spoken, simultaneously.
This is like magic!! I can't believe how great this works in my brain! My reading ability is higher than my listening, and these lessons allow me to read and comprehend the speech as I hear it the first time, without doing any translating in my head. It feels almost supernatural. The constantly appearing text keeps me focused so I never fall behind. If I'm only listening to spoken words, I fall behind during rough patches. Even using a printed transcript, there's no urgency and I still fall behind. There's something about this instantaneously appearing text that works unbelievably well to keep my brain focused.
They have a new one up today, I'm so excited. This is a perfect supplement to my listening practice. Are other Korean learners finding this as useful as I am? Is this kind of lesson available elsewhere for other languages, too?

How do they pull that off? Is it a video file instead of audio for those?

I've said time and time again on this site, that talktomeinkorean.com is probably the very best free online language learning resource for Korean. Hell, it's even a notch above many paid services and textbooks.
Haksaeng, be sure to start listening to the mp3 without the use of the crutch ie. the script. Begin with simply listening to the mp3 and picking up as much as you can. Note on a piece of paper the exact times where those rough patches you mentioned are. Listen to those difficult sections a few times more and get everything you can out of just hearing the words. Maybe even try transcribing what you think you're hearing (it doesn't matter if you have no idea, simply writing it down the way you hear it will focus your mind on those sentences). Then when you check with the script or video, you'll experience a number of "Aha!" moments as you analyze what was really being said.
I used to do this with Yonsei cds for 30-60 minutes a day back in 2009. Within one month my listening had skyrocketed to the next level, where I could really start to understand everyday conversation. Good luck!

jtdotto, I always listen to it several times before checking the script. You are right, it is amazing how much you can pick up each time. Using the script is something I do later, once I have stopped making progress through listening alone.
I would not like to give up the regular Iagi lessons, but I think the new style lessons, with the text appearing as the audio plays, is a great supplement.
I agree TTMIK is a treasure, and all free, which is amazing. Hyunwoo Sun seems quite a talented and energetic person and obviously loves language learning.
