If polyglots aren't arrogant, why should then the members of Mensa be arrogant? I wouldn't see any reason for this. And I wouldn't expect such behaviour either. If somebody is a member of Mensa and I am not, where is the problem? If some people are polyglots and others are not, where is the problem? Every human being is different and it is wellknown that having a high intelligence doesn't make life easy.
