I started studying Hanja last week and unfortunately some things are not explained in the book I'm using. I think I'll have questions now and then, so in this thread I hope I can get help from Korean speakers and people who have experience with studying Hanja.
In my first lesson I came across this pattern: 六 · 二五
What does the dot in the middle mean? Is this used to write a date (June 25)? Or does it 6.25 or something like that?

You got it, it's used to write dates.
It sometimes also takes the place of dashes, and sometimes even slashes where we would
use them in English. For example "비교·분석" is a common one.
But it's all rather intuitive. Some people use it, some don't. This isn't exclusive to 한
자 by the way, see example above.
So what you got there is June 25th, 6.25 (육이오) which is how most Koreans refer to the
Korean War (by the date on which is was started).

"・" is also the character that appears in most Japanese IMEs when you hit the "/" key. I can't say I recall seeing it much in Korean yet, though.
