EN: Just a mini-mini summary: This weekend I copied the vocabulary of Unit 14 in my vocabulary book, which I will take with me to work next week. So I can get aquainted with these new words before I start studying Unit 14 of "Güle Güle".

An astronomy website of Wikipedia written entirely in Turkish: What a fun-game!
After many, many years of language study I will be very delighted once in my life to understand such Turkish websites. This gives me a huge motivation to work in this direction. All my favourite scientific topics written in the Turkish language. I am really looking through that material thinking of that in the future I will be able to read it and understand it. For now I can only look up some keywords, like those you have listed me up in your German-Turkish vocabulary list.
Thanks a lot for the inspiration!

Hier ist deine Hausaufgabe viel Spass beim lesen :)

Merhaba Mert,
Selamlar,

OUR PRIVATE TURKISH STUDY GROUP IN THE LIBRARY
Before I could begin with W. working through our pensum, I wanted to inform W. about an important descision I took today. Yesterday evening I had a meeting with the Turkish teacher of my EAC Turkish course. There are 5 participants on the list and with this number of people the course would cost 138 EUR per semester. I told my teacher that this would be too expensive for me. Today I phoned with the EAC and got the info that cancellation of the course is still possible. So I decided that I will cancel it. The course is of minor quality and for this I will not pay such an amount of money.
So with a bit of delay we got started. First we read through the grammar of Unit 13 of our "Güle Güle" workbook. W. had some grammar questions, which I could answer him.Then we went though the excercises, but we could not finish all of Unit 13, so there is a little bit left for next week. We both had some minor mistakes, which we could correct vice versa. Interstingly it has never happend that we both make the same Turkish mistakes.
As W. and I are both members of the same astronomy club, W. was very delighted to read through glossa-passion's list of the German-Turkish astronomy vocabulary.

üst = über
alt = unter
ön = vor
arka = hinter
yan = neben
karşı = gegenüber
ara = zwischen
iç = in
sağ = rechts
sol = links
