MIT KURSUS DANSK MED JULESANG: Glade jul, dejlige jul
ENG: You can read the Danish version of this wellknown Christmas carol "Silent Night, Holy Night" on my Dutch blogwebsite!

When to squeeze in language learning?
Christmas is approaching and I will celebrate it with my friends again. So at the end of the week I will have no time for myself but will be in action.
I am now so busy writing job applications because I have the official obligation to send four of them every month. I haven't fulfilled my quota yet so I have some work to do now. It's a longlasting tradition in Germany that you have to send a photo with every application - something which is unknown in the Netherlands. So I will have to go to the photographer to get new photos because they should be of high - and expensive - quality.
I would rather dive in my Danish textbook for some self-study as there is an interesting unit dealing presented about the Royal Family in Denmark.

CHRISTMAS 2011
Of course I can't study Danish when I am celebrating Christmas with my friends. But I spoke lots of Dutch, recorded three new You Tube videos in DANISH, DUTCH and ESPERANTO and I sang "Glade jul, deijlige jul" in Danish. As well for the cooking together I selected three meals with recipes in Italian. As language related Christmas presents I received a language learning calendar in French and a DVD about paleontology form the BBC with the title "Walking with Beasts". This DVD you can listen to in English, Dutch or Flemish. We listened to it in Dutch.
Therefore my Christmas celebration has had enough foreign language elements, so I can now accept being alone again on 26 December for the rest of Christmas.

END OF TAC 2011
My personal thanks to the readers and contributors of my TAC - log throughout the years 2009 - 2011!
The last years 2011 was a very interesting study year for me when I had the privilege to visit Denmark for one week amd speak Esperanto, Danish, English, Dutch and German there. And I found a high-quality Danish course where I attended class for the first semester.
People who want to get an idea of my current level of Danish can watch my latest You Tube video completely spoken in Danish. :)
For the next TAC year 2012 I will start a new TAC - log.
Kind regards,
Fasulye
