In English you say: "when are you here?" and answer: "when i come".
But in danish that is: "hvornår er du her?", and answer "når jeg kommer"
If you have to translate "when" into danish, "hvornår" is used when asking, and at all
other times it is "når".
So the English "when" is the equivalent of "hvornår" and "når". |

Yes, but the German language does make a difference:
Hvornar er du her? = WANN bist du hier?
Nar jeg kommer = WENN ich komme.
Hvornar = Wann? (interrogative pronoun)
Nar = wenn... (conjunction)
It's a grammatical difference between those two!

Was will man mehr?
Fasulye

Hi Fasulye.
I was reminded about this website with a while ago while reading your log. It contains
some of Luthers texts.
You will find some of them translated into latin/danish some German/danish and some of
them in all three languages.
Like this one (scroll down a little):

I hope you can use it.

Hi André,
Religion is not my topic of interest. When I read foreign language texts, they should match my interests, because otherwise reading is no fun. Generally I have started trying to understand what people in this forum write in Danish - but also in Swedish and Norwegian. As my Danish vocabulary knowledge grows, I expect my reading ability to improve fast.
