Un grand "merci" à Akkadboy pour sa correction de mon français! Je suis très heureuse que je fasse si peu de fautes.

DK: SELFSTUDIUM DANSK I BYEN

I dag studerde jeg self med min lærebog og øvebog "Dänisch neu" i byen. Jeg gjorde lektionerne 4 og 5 fra den bog. I aften skal jeg gå til min kurs dansk på folkehojskolen. Jeg wil tage med min ny ordbog dansk-esperanto og bruger den for at læse vores bog "Emil fra Lønneberg".

MY VHS DANISH COURSE

In my last Danish lesson we read another piece of our children's novel "Emil fra Lönneberg". Also my classmates decided to prolong our course until the school holidays / vacation. So there will be 5 extra lessons this semester in summer. As a grammar topic we learned a selection of Past Tense (= preteritum in Dutch) forms, which I present in my blog. When studying Danish verbs I have to learn all 3 stem forms anyway, but I found it very useful to focus on such verb forms as we did yesterday in our class.

SELFSTUDIUM DANSK

Jeg havde for 4 dager en seminar og for den seminar jeg havde tid at studere med min lærebog dansk lektion 6. På grammatik jeg lærte nye former for eksempel: mit - dit - sit - hans - hendes - vores - jeres - deres navn. Men du kan læse mere i min blog.

FAMILY VISIT WITH POSITIVE LANGUAGE NEWS

I am now on familiy holiday here and my idea was to inform my father and his girlfriend about my Danish language studies, which I had kept as a secret so far. When they were sitting at the terrasse I brought my two Danish study books with me and started writing new vocabulary in my Danish vocabulary book. My father asked me what I was studying. I told that I have been learning Danish for one and a half years now. My father asked me how many languages I have in my repertoire together with Danish. I answered that it depends on whether I include Latin in my count or not. So I said: "8 languages without Latin" (and without Turkish). This was all my father wanted to know without giving any criticism at all. It was so easy to tell him, I hadn't expected that.

SELF-STUDY DANISH with "Dänisch Neu", Unit 7

My father has a very large table which is excellent to spread all my study materials in a quiet room, it's the perfect ambiente for good concentration at language self-study. I wish I had such a table in my own flat, but there's not enough space for a large table.

And there's some time when everbody is doing quiet things such as reading or working in the garden, so I can sit at the table and study my Danish or do listening exercises with my MP3-player.

Unit 7 of my textbook Danish deals mainly with the question "Hvad er klokken?" (= What's the time?) and with all variations of telling the time. We had this topic already in my Danish course, so this is a repetition for me. Of course there is some new vocabulary in every unit, but other vocabulary is already known to me.
