OUR BUSINESS ENGLISH MEETING
Today we met in my neigbour city again for Business English and we read an article from Business Spotlight with the title "New Beginnings". That doesn't say much but the text deals with immigration to Canada. What striked me most of the whole article is that there is a lot of "temporary immigration" in Canada, which is different from Germany. The texts contains long English / German vocabulary lists, but only 6 of the words listed were really unknown to me. Not a surprise because for my two Business English exams I had to learn lots of Business English vocabulary.

En enkelt lille detalje:
"på søndag" betyder den kommende søndag - men hvis det er dagen efter siger man normalt "i morgen"
"i søndags" betyder den foregående søndag - men hvis det er dagen før siger man normalt "i går"
"forrige søndag" betyder normalt søndagen før den foregående søndag (men sommetider den foregående søndag selv)
"om søndagen" betyder alle søndage (og det gør "søndage" også)
"søndag" kan have forskellige betydninger afhængug af sammenhængen

Thanks for drawing my attention to these grammar rules, which I didn't applicate. I should be more CONSISTENT (EDIT) in implementing what I learn in my textbooks.
