Is there a word in English or any other language to describe intolerance of some religion? For example, one meaning of "racism" is "hatred or intolerance of another race or other races". If you replace "race(s)" with "religion(s)" in the definition, what's the word for it? Unfortunately, the word "religionism" is used to describe "excessive or exaggerated religious zeal", unrelated to intolerance or discrimination. Words such as "anti-semitism" are specific to one religion. I'd like a word in general, if it exists in any language. Thanks.

How about irreligion?
ir·re·li·gion
n.
Hostility or indifference to religion.
Bigotry comes pretty close, but it's too broad:
bigotry: stubborn and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one's own.

In Danish we can say that someone is "antireligiøs" which means that he or she is "anti religious". It can designate different degrees of anti religious sentiments ranging from some forms of atheism to outright hostility and supression of all things religious.
There is a detailed entry on wikipedia on "antireligionism". Is this what you are looking for?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antireligion
"The atheist state of the Soviet Union directed antireligious campaigns at all faiths[2], including Christian, Buddhist and Shamanist religions. The government nationalised all church property, executed clergy, prohibited the publication of most religious material and persecuted members of religious groups."

Thank you both. Now I'm thinking of it, I think there's still a little difference between what I want and irreligion or antireligionism. I want to describe those people that hate Christianity but may or may not have some religion themselves, plus those that hate Buddhism but may or may not have religion themselves, plus ... Let's say I'm writing about rules of work place ethics. I say "We do not tolerate racism, sexism, anti-semitism, anti-Christianity, anti-Islam, anti-..." I want to use one noun to replace the words from "anti-semitism" down. Employees can have religion (or be atheists), but should not hate those that have other religions.

I would just call that "religious intolerance" or "religious discrimination". I don't
think there's a single word for that concept.

I second Levi's suggestion of "religous intolerance". It seems to be the English phrase closest to what you are looking for

Yea I don't think there's a single word to describe the concept of religious intolerance. Even with antisemitism, that's a specific word that describes racism against Jews, many of whom are not religious. To describe intolerance towards Judaism, I would use Judeophobia or anti-Judaism. Like with Islam, Islamophobia or anti-Islam.

Thanks all. I'm happy with "religious intolerance" or "religious discrimination".
