Yeah, it's coming down to the wire now. I'm doing the practice reading tests in my textbook for the N2. I'm not feeling really very confident, based on my sample tests results. We'll see.

I wonder what the best browser for android is. Does one have a good japanese
dictionary support like Riki-sama on Firefox pc? I kind of miss my iPhone which I
just sold on ebay. The screen was so small compared to the note 3 that I couldn't
resist changing. One thing I'm missing right away is that I could more or less
touch type on the iPhone with auto correct on. I'm not there to yet with android.
Also the iPhone has a pretty good japanese universal dictionary. I haven't found a
universal dictionary in android yet at all.
I had a lesson on JOI tonight. It was a mixture of failing and success. I need to
cram 敬語 before the test I think. If I'm reading text then 敬語 isn't any problem
but if I'm doing fast question response then it kind of is a problem. One thing I'm
noticing about the JLPT is that i seem to go on streaks. It seems luck has a pretty
it factor for me since it's multiple choice so i can get stuff right i normally
wouldn't. It's a bit scary. And it takes good intuition. I wish i knew my stuff better
so this wouldn't feel like I'm gambling at a casino but it is what it is.
I'm wondering if i shouldn't have stayed at a youth hostel for this test in San
Francisco. If i don't sleep well it'll mess me up.

Well I looked at options again and I am going to stay with the cheap hostel. I'll be there long enough that the money saved is too tempting. I wish I could be more positive. I am thinking what I'll do if I don't pass. Facing family friends etc., and would I go for N2 in a year or just redo the N3? I pretty much knew that I wouldn't redo the N4 no matter what but I am not sure about N3. If I don't pass I might want to retake it. I hope I pass. Man.

I'm thinking if it's like last year's N4 and I'm really close to passing.. I might as well go for N2 next time. My family will think I'm nuts but whatever.

Having sat both N3 and N2 I would say unless something substantially changes in the amount of
time you can spend on Japanese, get through N3 first.
But you're going to pass anyway.
Have you done a timed practice test yet?

I haven't. Yeah. I stink. I was thinking at this
point it won't matter anyway and I procrastinated
doing it earlier. It's a good thing I'm doing JOI
because otherwise my studying is just from anime
and Manga.

Just do it. It's better to spend a couple of hours on it now rather than worry about how the
test will be.

I'll do it tomorrow. I am sure it won't make me feel better since I've
been doing practice stuff and I feel like I'm guessing answers. Hope I
do well on it.. I try to measure myself compared to other JOI students
doing the JLPT but it's hard. I hope we all pass.
