I didn't paste it but I had it corrected at lang8 :)
I'm absolutely not grossed out talking about this in any language. It would just feel too much like promoting, whereas when I'm posting in Spanish I'm also practising my target language :)

Oh my God... Alucinando me dejas con el texto... Verdad es que curioso es un rato, más bien parece un anuncio que un ensayo. No obstante te felicito por el uso de la lengua, está bastante bien.

Sorry, I misread you about being grossed out. Still, I don't see why it would feel less like advertising if it's written in Spanish. We do commercials too, you know :)

@mrwarper, the way I see it, in my log I'm free to write anything in my target languages, as long as it's not illegal.

Updating my list of things bought for the Super Challenge.

Polish:
1. HP 3 - 35 złoty
2. a Warsaw guidebook for football fans - about 20 złoty
3. a book about football - 27 złoty
+two football phrasebooks that don't really count
total: 82 złoty, ie about 20 €.

German:
1. Johanna Sinisalo - Troll - 14.5 €
2. Moomins - 22 €
(only ordered these so far, don't have them yet. under 40 €)

Portuguese:
1. Paulo Coelho - O Alquimista - 14.9 €
2. Paulo Coelho - O Diário de um Mago - 14.9 €
3. Dan Brown - O Código da Vinci - 16.9 €
total: 46.7 €

Belarusian:
1. Shamiakin - collected works - 17.000 BYR
2. Bychkouski - Anamalia (a fantasy story) - 39.000 BYR
3. Zarecki - 27.000 BYR
total: about 82.000 BYR, ie about 8€, which is a more significant sum in Belarus than in Europe obviously

the 1st and 3rd book have about 480 pages each:)

I just ordered it in Spanish. I probably won't have time to start it until after the 6WC, though. =(

It's a really nice book. I actually wanted to reread it, but I didn't have it in any of the super challenge languages so I bought it in Portuguese:) ages ago it was the first book I read in Finnish, because it's popular and there's an audiobook (and a great one!!!)
I kinda like how it goes in waves - only some parts have you reading non-stop till you're too sleepy. Other parts are just normal, especially when you've read the book previously.
I have the Spanish audiobook for it btw:)

Oddly enough, I can't listen to audiobooks in Spanish anymore. My mind wanders. I'd rather just read the book. :-)

As far as I am concerned you can do whatever you want, be it legal or not. If a little light-hearted comment bothers you so much, I'm even sorrier than I am baffled, and you can rest assured it won't happen again :(
