Is anyone else crazy/sensible enough to be planning what to do for the 6 week challenges already? They will take place in February, May, August and November.
As a huge football fan I'm looking forward to Euro 2012 in June so I'll do Polish in May for some pre-tournament joy and then the language of the country that wins it in August (runner-up if it's France because I. don't. wanna. learn. French :P and I'm thinking of doing Old English or Old Church Slavonic if Russia or England wins...not that it's likely haha)
I'm undecided between Danish, Belarusian and Indonesian for February and what I do for November depends on what'll happen before that.

I'm in! I plan to do Swedish or Norwegian in February, I'll decide later which one.

My last 6wc ended too early again, because of school. I just didn't have much mood and energy for the languages then.
I already kind of promised Sprachprofi that Esperanto would be my next choice :-)
After that, it should be Spanish and probably Swedish. Not sure yet.
Perhaps at some point, there could finally be a Swedish or Skandinavian team.
p.s. and to the original question: yes I am that crazy. Even though I didn't finish any of the last two 6wc :-(

My university schedule rules out February and May. If I want to do a 6-week blitz of a language, it'll have to start next week, to coincide with my Christmas holidays. I might be going to rural mid-Wales for a bit in January, in which case I'll have to take my rudimentary Welsh skills and get to a conversational standard.

Next 6WC I'm going to study... Esperanto. I was planning on doing Mandarin and Spanish too, so I might pick a random language at the August challenge..
Sooo, February - Esperanto, I guess. May - Mandarin? August - I have no idea. Norwegian, maybe? Or Welsh. I'd love to try Welsh. And november.. Spanish, since I'm possibly going to Peru for christmas.
Obviously things could change since I'll be starting college and it might be a little hard.

I probably/definitely won't stick to it but it's fun to speculate so my targets right now are -
February - Hungarian/Northern Saami
May - Polish/Croatian
August - Polish/Ukrainian
November - Finnish

Right now I am tentatively planning French for February. That would be a completely new one for me.
For the other challenges, I am not sure.

Definitely. Having finally found a new flat 2 days after the 6WC started and moving in 1,5 weeks ago my first 6WC wasn't as effective as I hoped it would be, but I've tasted blood and like to take part in other challenges. So my plans for the 6WC in 2012 are:
February - Kurdish (again)
May - Russian
August - Russian (again)
November - Portuguese
