About Poles (results in English):

Quote:
Poles, as a population, are known to be complainers

In general, Poles are more conservative and formal than Westerners, but they are known for their hospitality.

Poles are known in Europe for their euroenthusiasm.

(results in Polish and translated to English)

Quote:
Poles are dissatisfied with the Parliament, President and the government

Poles are hard working.

Poles are antisemitic.

I'm not sure if all of these are true.

First few results ^^:

Quebecers are known for their festive spirit and taste for celebration.
Quebecers are known for their distinct language, culture, tastes and generally for doing things their own way.
Quebecers are known for their friendliness.
Quebecers are known to be tolerant and open
Quebecers are known to swear a lot (haha)
La belle nation-inside-a-nation de Québec is known for its restaurants, les «casse-croutes».

And to wrap it all:   Quebec is known across the world as the place with the highest ratio of the most attractive women, attested by the numerous strip clubs and erotic gift shops, and as the largest bastion of the strong weed and beer on the American Continent.

Why would Americans be better husbands than (for instance) Germans or Brits?

If this is true, then I'll certainly bear that in mind next time a lonely expat American hits on me... lol !

(For the record - Google's take on Sweden is rather sweeping. It bears only about 50% true for me..)

I like Poles but I have met some Ukrainians who don't quite share my affection for them.

Well, you must never trust what any European country says about their immediate neighbours.. it's all down to history of wars and disputes...
Of course, nowadays we all love eachother and agree about everything in the EU... lol
