Is it correct to first use 您 and then use 你们 (instead of 您们)?

The usage of「您们」is grammatically correct, but in most cases we usually speak「你们」instead of「您们」(very formal) out of consideration for a natural mood.

“您们” is non-existent in Beijing speech. Grammatical features absent in spoken Beijing should be avoided in Standard Chinese.
(also consider "起去")

In fact, we don't say 您们 at all in oral Chinese, it's strange.

The only situation I've heard people used it was primary school kids making welcome speech to visitors from some higher administration department etc.

"水平还挺低了" this is weird. I suppose 水平还挺低的 or 水平还不高 is better.

I'll say 进步不大 instead of 进步不多. Don't ask me to explain why :p

It's called he five finger rule. Imagine showing fingers here:
THAT’S. THE. WAY. IT. IS.
It's my favorite grammar rule. No exceptions, no irregularities, explains everything :)

should be 发现
should be 悲痛的事,but here 悲痛 seems to be exaggerated, so it should be 让我伤心的事
