He has Aspergers. He claims to speak 39 languages "fluently" (almost none of which he actually speaks at more than a beginner's level). |

I have indeed seen his channel and I had actually been tempted go really hard on Cesare (maybe even call him a fake along the lines of Ziad Fazah) but just to cover my a$$, I then checked out his channel. Upon seeing his admission of having Asperger's Syndrome I decided to ease off and merely point out that the Estonian translation seemed too close to Google Translate (i.e. he's flouting the spirit of the game and potentially calling into question his Super Polyglot status).
My post was tipped off not only by the sudden appearance of a Super Polyglot with a wide range of languages but even with my long-unused knowledge of Estonian, I quickly got a sense that there was something "off" or unidiomatic in the translation.
On a related note, using Google Translate in this game could take a lot of the fun or challenge out of it.

Listen everybody, I am very sorry about what happened
before. I do not claim to be fluent in 39 languages anymore, I
only claim to be fluent in 8. Please go to my channel and read
my profile description and please do NOT call me fake! I
swear, anyone that called me fake, I will attempt to report
them. (I am sorry for saying that, it just came out of
frustration).

I don't mean to be a spoil sport but based on my studies in
Estonian of long ago, I have a strong suspicion that the
Estonian version as posted by Cesare M. is courtesy Google
Translate.
Just sayin'... |

On his youtube page he's wrote that he has "PDD Autism"
This is the same as Asperger's? I thought that it can be
different, and that some people think that Asperger's is high
function autism, but others think that it's not autism at all.
PDD autism is a much wider diagnose I think, and if someone
tell PDD autism, it's not correct to suppose that he's Asperger.
Maybe the many forum's visitors who wrote that he's
Asperger's can explain me why they say it, and maybe Cesar
can inform if he's Asperger or not. Thank you!

Asperger is not the same as PDD autism and unfortunately it's
hard to explain why. For those people who claim that PDD
does not go with autism and think they're right, need to get a life! I am not going to
let myself get offended by these stupid judgements, and as for you, you are not one of those people and I
thank you for that. I also thank you for the nice comment.

Bobby Fisher had Asperger's syndrom and he clearly was a genius and a chess god... so, until I know more about Cesare proficiency, I wont post any bad comments on him... I am ready to believe him... After all, John Bowring, former governor of Honk Kong (19th century) was said to have spoken 200 languages (which I doubt very much!!).. cf. wiki / john bowring article / hyperpolyglots)
But, I must say, the google versions seem so .. closed...to Cesare texts'

French version:
"Call me Ishmael. Some years ago - never mind how long precisely - having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation."
"Appelle-moi Ishmaël. Il y a des années - peu importe combien de temps précisément - n'ayant que très peu ou pas du tout d'argent dans mon porte-monnaie, et comme rien de particulier ne m'intéressait sur terre, j'ai pensé aller naviguer un peu et aller voir la partie aquatique du monde. C'est une façon que j'ai de chasser le spleen et de régler la circulation"
But this translation is shit!! Sorry for saying that but I just tried to make a "litteral" translation... now let's try a litterary translation... Actually, I'm not really sure about the "regulating the circulation" part in English... there must be some hidden meaning i didnt get...
""Appelle-moi Ishmaël. Il y a des années - peu importe la durée exacte, - n'ayant que peu ou pas d'argent dans ma bourse, et comme rien ne m'intéressait sur terre, j'ai décidé d' aller naviguer un peu pour voir la 'partie aquatique' (i cant find sthg else) du monde. C'est ma façon de chasser mon spleen et de remettre mes idées en place"
A little better and a little "more French"!! but far from being perfect....
