What do you think about translating songs as a method for practising hearing/listening?
Do you think is a good idea when words in songs are a little unnatural?
Perhaps anyone using such method?

I use some Finnish songs as a source of more exotic or poetic words, and once I've looked up the definitions for most of the words in the song and I know what they mean, it's easier for me to hear the words. Still, I'm not sure if I'd really rely on this to any degree. I really only do this to put some variety into my vocabulary.
