Hi, I'm still here.
I didn't give up the studies, but they've not been so intense lately.
Sp: He terminado escuchando y trabajando con Harry Potter. He escuchado mucho a Spanishpod (int.
Chinese: I made a break in my Mandarin studies, then I spent a couple of weeks on revision, now I continue working with my textbook (now on Unit 14), shadow texts from the book and chinesepod podcasts, try to do scriptorium with them, use Anki (292 char-s), listen to Michel Thomas's Chinese course. Mandarin studies take the greater part of my learning time now.
I've listened to several audiobooks in English. The recent "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley and "1984" by George Orwell left me feeing quite depressed. Now I'm looking for something more inspiring and optimistic to listen to.

Me he disfrutado mucho.
Continuo escuchar a "Spanish Vocabulary Course".
Mand: I decided to take up the Chinese Assimil course adopted for Russian speakers for the sake of revision of old characters and learning new ones. My main textbook among its drawbacks has the one that it gives a lot of characters, but few exercises for their revision. It also puts great emphasis on explaining the intricances of pronunciation, but gives little dialogue imitating the real speech situations. So I've already made the shadowing ang writing of 5 Assimal dialogues.For me everything is remembered better fron the context. Anki: 304 characters.

Sp: - he escuchado a dos audiolibros mas sobre Lola Lago;
- he escuchado a MT's "Spanish Vocabulary Course".
Mand: I'm engrossed in Assimil Chinese so I ignore the textbook for the time being. From Assimil I worked at 6 new dialogues and revised the previous ones. Also did the scriptorium of ChinesePod 42. I regularly listen to MT's Chinese course (good before going to sleep). Anki: 339 hanzi. I also use hand-written flahcards.
Ger: At last back to German, but for the time being passively. I began listening to MT's "German Advanced Course".

Mand: - continue listening to MT's course;
- worked at Assimil dialogues up to 3-3 (mostly scriptorium, a bit of shadowing);
- the same with Chinesepod Newbie 77,83, 97;
- revision of the previous dialogues;
- Anki 384 cards.

Mand: - concentrated on revision of the Assimil dialogues already covered (shadowing and scriptorium);
- finished Unit 14 in my textbook and began Unit 15;
- Chinesepod 213, 209, 218, 186 (mostly scriptorium) + revision of the previous;
- Anki - 420 characters.
By the way, I don't mention it, but I always write a line of the hanzi that is new to me, and a line some days later. Now I came across the necessity to write and remember the two variants (traditional and simplified).
Sp: He terminado escuchando a "Angeles y Demonios".

Hi! I was lost for some time as 3 weeks ago my second son was born. I was getting used to being mother of two that turned out to be a rather difficult task.
All I managed to do concerned Mandarin:
- finished with Michel Tomas's Chinese and turned to MT's Advances Chinese. I listen to each lesson two or three times until everything sinks in;
- began listening to Pimsleur I, the words that are new to me and nice phrases I look up and import to Anki;
- a bit of scriptorium.
