Well again, let me say that I have found the videos very useful, in particular the one regarding the L-R
technique, which I had read about previously but didn't clearly understand until I saw your video on it. One
question though splogg if you don't mind, how do you manage to find books/audio in your target language. I
looked for the godfather in Italian but just found film references etc

Regards

Tom

Thanks for the kind words about my videos Tom.

Where do I find books and audio? To be honest, is very easy for me to find books in Czech, because I live in Prague.

I see that you are in the UK, and that would certainly make it much harder. I really don't know where to buy Italian language materials in the UK. Sorry. The only suggestions I can make are to buy online, or to steal from the internet. Certainly, a quick google search for Il Padrino found lots of matches.

I have added a video about using an SRS (Spaced Repetition System) - reviewing, briefly, both BYKI and ANKI, and also ANKI on Mobile Phones:

These are some excellent videos. I rather like your presenting style. One of Glossika's latest videos is entitled something like "Check out FluentCzech" (completely unrelated video content so a rather amusing advert!) and the name rang a bell but I couldn't think why. The bell sounded like it came from these forums, so I posted a response to your introductory video asking if you knew these forums. It turns out I was right and I had seen use of that name before.

Although I don't learn Czech these videos seem to apply to any language. It's great to be able to add another to my expanding list of, erm ... glots ... I'm subscribed to!

Thanks Paul - those are very kind words. I am astonished that Glossika has mentioned my channel. That is a big honour indeed.

I have put two new videos up:

One answers a question I am often asked: "Is Czech a difficult language?"

The other video is a Brief Overview of the Czech Alphabet

My latest youtube video is a gentle introduction to grammatical cases (you know, all that nominative, genitive, dative, etc stuff).
