Today I uploaded a new video detailing how I use something
like Mind Mapping to get a better grasp of how words are used and how they relate to one
another. There is nothing revolutionary here, but a few people had asked me to describe a
few of the techniques I use as supplements to the Spiral Method.

My latest video gives my humble
thoughts on a question that many new language learners ask: "When will I be able to think
in my target language?"

I've not yet watched all your videos yet but the ones I've seen have been very helpful for me. I also downloaded your conversational connectors to my ANKI desk and I've got to say you're really an inspiration for me because Czech is special to me, I have a strong motivation to learn to speak it fluently and you're such a great example that it's possible. In real life most people simply don't understand why I learn Czech at all and even less why I'd love to move to Czech Republic when my kids are grown-up. So thanks a lot for your videos and for sharing your experiences with us.

Over the last couple of weeks, I have noticed lots of new subscribers to my youtube channel. This may be due to many people making new years resolutions to learn a language.
I have also noticed that a lot of people have been asking me and others "what is the best method?" and "how do I stay motived?".
To me, those issues are closely related, and I address them both in a new video I have uploaded to youtube.
As a bonus, if you watch this video you will see me with a beard for the first time ever :-)
So, here is the new video : Methods & Motivation

You have made lots of really great and interesting videos. Thanks for sharing your experience and ideas. I think you have a gift for that.
One question though, do you really only study six days a week?
