Ah, I finally found your new log, my dear partner in crime!
A brilliant introduction as always! And we all can relate to the transformation that occurs when no one is looking - when the dual persona creeps out of his hiding place with an insatiable passion for kanji and Russian inflectional suffixes! :D :D
You seem to have landed in the ideal multiglot immersion environment - and you even have the luxury of a Russian speaking partner. Let's hope her suffering is not close to that of our friend Job - (actually, joking aside, I believe you have a very lucky wife!) :)
So the New Year has started - let's set out on our fourth journey together! And who knows, maybe this is the year when we finally reach the mythical Nebula of Fluency?

Chañs vat! As your fellow in both MIR and Lugus, we shall embark on two journeys
together; and I am glad to see that you are my fellow cosmonaut when we travel in space,
but my captain when we sail over seas along the ridges of Celtic culture!

@Medialis
Here we are once again bro; it's hard to believe it's our 4th year in the TAC together already! We should contact the Guinness Book of Records and claim some small token of recognition. ;) I'm particularly excited that I'll be studying some actual Japanese this year, and may with time be able to understand new hidden depths of Sai-Lon Tsu's wonderful teachings. I aim to use Assimil for starters, and might even try to enlist on a summer course later. However what I really need is some Japanese tv to get my listening skills off the ground. Do you have any tips on fun programmes I could watch online from the US (foreign cable on my block only seems to extend to Korean)? I'm also interested in visual novels, but I have a Mac, and when I read the tome of instructions on how to set everything up, I start to feel a bit dizzy and confused...
@tarvos
Bloavezh mat! Side by side, with sails to the wind, we'll conquer the seven seas in 2013 and boldy go where no TAC crews have dared before!
@riff
Thanks, these TACs have been great fun to take part in. Let's drink to us both reaching B2 in Russian by the end of 2013! :)
@zecchino1991
С Новым Годом, и должен сказать, у тебя замечательная бабушка!
@ancpem1
Good luck with the transition from Koine to modern Greek this year. I'd be interested to hear how they differ, especially as I studied theology and philosophy for my first degree and always wanted to learn Greek. :)
