So you didn't grow up speaking the language then? It's always a shame when that happens,
but at least you and I are both making the effort. How are you finding the Serbian? It is
definitely a language I'd like to learn as well, one day.

I spoke it at first, but we sorta stopped when I starting going to primary and pretty much all together when I hit
first grade so as a result I had forgotten most of it, bar a few phrases and off hand words. I'm enjoying the
Serbian study, but the grammar takes time to process I've found so I'm going at a slow pace. I need to
practice the concepts I learn more, but even at my casual pace I've learned more in a month than I have at
any other point in time where I've tried to learn it.

How about yourself - are you enjoying the pace at which you're going with your Greek? What are the things
you find easy and hard?

Well, it's been a while since my last update but I can say that even though much has happened
in the past 4 months, I am still going strong with my Greek. I feel like I'm improving, and
some good signs include me thinking up random Greek sentences. In about 4 weeks, it will have
been a year that I'd have been studying Greek, and then, I'll have to reassess. I went through
my Assimil book yesterday, and I was pleased to see the amount I've assimilated. Does
what it says on the tin, eh?

I'm studying Greek with assimil too and I love it :) after you finished the book could you read native material?
Were you really at an intermediate level?
