YOUR SUMMARY OF SEPTEMBER 2009
I found only a very small incorrectness: I bought TWO books of Jules Verne, both of them I discuss in the French subforum under "Book Club" Jules Verne.
The rest is perfect!

OK, I have corrected that information.

About one month ago my mother declared that she wanted a small computer for watching holiday pictures and things like that (she is not quite ready for the internet), so today I bought on her behalf a tiny laptop. Until now I have carried my old heavy laptop with me, but from now on it should be enough to carry a USB-key with new or changed files. The downside of this is that I have spent most of this evening putting the thing together, configuring it and copying data from my own PC to the little new acquisition, and because I have to do it with an USB-key it takes some time (all in all it is around 20 gB I have to move with that key).
So consequently my language studies have been somewhat limited today. However while I waited for the copying operations to finish I did manage to watch some internet TV. First a program about the sinister future for the glaciers of this planet in "Space and Earth" on the Catalan channel TV3, then some Icelandic TV from RUV - but RUV only has programs part of the day, and it is hardly anything but the news, the weather forecast and the program Kastljós (spotlight) that makes it to the internet.
I have noticed that Fasulye refers to her lefthandedness as a reason to stop making wordlists. It is true that the layout I have sketched generally is based on the idea that you fill the columns from left to right, and that the repetition is placed to the right on each sheet. But of course you can flip the whole thing and start from the right. However I can't change that the Latin alphabet is written from the left to the right. But she made a valiant attempt, and if she feels that another method to memorize vocabulary is better for her then it is of course worth trying that one out.

I don't know how you feel about being corrected, but I thought I'd point out that "backside" isn't used like "bagdel" is in Danish.

No problem, - I have changed 'backside' into 'downside'. I do make errors even in English, but normally I notice the errors and correct them as soon as I see them on the screen, but right now I'm looking at two computers and one TV set, so I'm not fully concentrated.
By the way, Danish 'bagdel' in this context is only used in informal talk, - the neutral word is 'bagside' (often in the fixed expression 'bagsiden af medaljen')
