Well I must say I am very sorry if that is the case. I had really looked forward to asking him about his

Thats not the precise description of his methods but in this blog is written what he has once said:
http://thelinguistblogger.wordpress.com/2008/05/25/the-many- languages-of-ziad-fazah/
From the Blog:
Ziad Fazah’s Methodology
Ziad says that everyone should build up his or her own methodology but that there are three basic steps to follow that he has used and finds very effective.
- Listen to the target language for at least half an hour a day. In a week you should be very familiar with the sound system of the language.
- Study the language (written form) for another half an hour a day. In two weeks you should have a good grasp on it.
- Ziad wanted me to emphasize this step. Shadow or recite the language out loud for at least fifteen minutes a day. What you recite isn’t nearly as important as doing it out loud for at least fifteen minutes a day.

While I agree, I don't know any other prolific members from Canada who claim fluency in several dozens of languages (hence my guess).

Hi Jeff,
I just meant that it could be anyone could pretend to Ziad Fazah just to stir things up here. It doesn't have to be someone who's been a member here before, or who has claimed fluency in dozens of languages.

While it is not beyond a Canadian to get up to this sort of devilment, and frankly whenever something goes sideways or all evil-like up here, we blame Torontonians pretty much as a default, this particular mischief likely originates elsewhere - it being November up here, the interweb tubes in Ontario are mostly frozen solid by now.

I used to trust Canadians but then I heard Weird Al's Canadian Idiot. Now I suspect that they are secretly plotting to overthrow the US.
