An application of 푼돈 would be 푼돈 모아서 목돈 만든다, literally meaning "making big money by collecting small money"

I typed 거시기 in image search on naver....WOW...

거시기 has SEVERAL different meanings, one of which I'm sure you would have found on the image search.

Jiwon, I started 거북이달린다 Seriously, this is a hard movie. Lots of slang and accent. I have to skip lots of parts, I am just trying to study the easy parts. In some parts of the movie, they are using things that are not in the dictionary. Or if it is in the dictionary, they way they use it must have a different meaning. Such as number 9. "떡값이 12만원" They are definitely not talking about 떡값.. I am going to stick with the movie and hopefully pick up some slang. Hanja, I added the Hanja, I studied to my list of sentences. Check below. 1. 양손을 흔든 양면, 양쪽, 양손, 양팔, 양친 2. 아직 영업 안 하는데 직업, 부업, 취업, 업무, 사업, 영업. 3. 현장 학습하러 박물관 가 4. 개가 내 불알 친구 아녀. 5. 도사자 6. 총기 다루는거, 수갑, 호신술, 범인 잡는 요령 필요, 요하다, 중요하다. 주요하다. 요점. 7. 아직도 여기 살아? 8. 내가 신고하면 어쩔 건데 9. 떡값이 12만원 10. 민방위 통지서 11. 사기죄 쥐악,범쥐, 살인죄, 죄짓다, 죄인 12. 외사가 절대로 흥분하지 말라고 했거든요. 13. 주기도문 14. 정직이죠...3개월... 1 person has voted this message useful | |

I think my vocabulary is getting much better, but still very far from my goal. My goal is to read newspapers in Korean, watch movies in Korean, watch tv in korean. I started reading those free newspapers they have in the subway. Wow, I am surprised at how much I know, also, I am surprised at how little I know. I have decided to read at least an article everyday. I find it really useful. Lots of new vocab, and some interesting subjects. I read today about a Korean MMA fighter, who is rehabilitating his knee. Do you know 김동현, that guy could be champion someday. Korea's best figher, in my opinion. I love, MMA and I love that in Korea you can watch UFC without paid subsciption. So, the sport is really big here. I love it.. Since starting reading Korean newspapers, just a few days ago.
I am really starting to grow a real vocab. In Korean vocab is not as hard as people make it out to be. Example. I memorized 노인 a long time ago. 노--old 인--person I memorized the song 이등병의 편지 Now, I was reading, I saw.... 노병.. Well this word is now so easy to remember in my mind. It naturally links to both the song, and my memory of old people. 노병 got it.... Here are some really hard words I am trying to memorize. I hope to understand newspapers after one year. 1. 청약금 2. 참패 3. 순위 4. 경쟁률 5. 평균의 6. 미달 7. 상습과음 8. 지출이 많아. 9. 식품영양학과 10.한국의 베트남 진출 11. 쾌거 12. 진입 13. 강조했다 14. 모든 것을 망라한 15. 종합 16 점수를 매기다 17. 창문을 활짝 열다. 18. 관공서 19. 전망이 좋은 방 20. 본격적인 1 person has voted this message useful | |
