GoldFibre, thanks so much for the answers. I'm giving the movie SRS method you've developed a go. So far it is quite enjoyable. Also, thanks for the dictionary recommendation. By the way, what sort of chat rooms do you frequent? Thanks again.

I thought SharedTalk was a bit.. too unfriendly and lacking human touch for my taste. But if you like it, then by all means go ahead. :)

I first used it several weeks ago and didn't like it. But I kept getting messages from people, so eventually I decided to respond and found some good conversation partners. The actual chat room is usually quiet, but I found that if I spark a conversation, there are lots of people waiting to join in.

I read 토끼의 소원. I also spoke to someone on SharedTalk who became annoyed when I said I was not Korean and then infuriated when I said I had been studying the language for seven months. I suppose that is a sign of progress. O.o

TAC 2009 Day 41
Before sleeping last night I read a few pages of Harry Potter, and understood it very well without a dictionary. There are still a lot of words I don't know, but I think the more important difference from before is that I understand the sentence structure significantly better. Now if I read at about half speed I can comprehend what is happening in the sentence, even if I miss some word meanings. I found the book very difficult on my last attempt back in December. All these books I've been reading must be paying dividends now.
