I love the idea of TAC and here is my plan for upcoming year.
(Take a look at 10th page!)

My goal is to, by the end of 2010, be able to speak 4 languages (Polish, English, Japanese, Esperanto)

JAPANESE
What I want to achieve is being able to pass JLPT 1 and achieve level of at least basic fluency (isn’t that required for lvl 1?). Also, I want to be able to read “Norwegian Wood” by Haruki Marukami with full understanding. Fluency in speaking with native is also a must, taking in cosinderation fact, that I want to go to Japan next summer and communicate with people.

-Kanji: I need to know 2230 for JLPT. I will use materials from http://www.jlpt-kanji.com and Anki to learn and revise.

-Speaking: I have Japanese friends who can help me with holding a conversation in Japanese. I don’t want to be afraid of using this language and I want to use more advanced but still common structures during my chat.

-Writing: I have’t written anything at my lang-8 account for a while. Have to come back to it

-Grammar: Go through “Dictionary of Japanese Grammar” series. It should be enough. Combining with完全マスター for lvl 1 I should be fine.

-Reading: I’m not good at it. If I focus really hard and sacrifice a lot of time I can understand the text. But, at the exam, I’m not given too much time so achieving fluency in reading is one of my goals. I will try to tackle Harry Potter and Murakami’s book but first, I want to read short stories from "Breaking into Japanese literature" and "Exploring Japanese literature" by Giles Murray. Also, recently I found book "Pea de Oboeru Iroirona Kotoba" and probably I will start my reading adventure from this one.

-Listening: podcasts will be my friends. I also hope that my listening will improve through talking with Japanese.

ESPERANTO

I don't have time for learning it at the moment. Maybe during Christmas holidays or winter I will manage some time. I have polish-esperanto dictionary on CD. As for grammar, I will use lernu.net. For speaking I will find a language partner, for writing I will use lang-8 and for listening I will listen to podcasts in esperanto.

My goal is to achieve fluency by the end of 2010

GERMAN

That's a language which I'm forced to learn at school. Really, it was 100% choice of my parents and probably that's the reason why I hate it so much. Instead, I always wanted to learn Russian but oh well...
Somehow I manage not to get straight F's from German at school. I want to get better marks. My goal is to keep up with what's in school and get A's from tests. Textbook will be my friend

ENGLISH

I want to pass TOEFL with a good score. Don't know how yet haha

Good luck. May I add that mastering Hangul is not that easy as some people make it out to be. Although there are only 24 basic characters, there are double vowels and consonants, plus the process of assimilation which makes reading Hangul a bit more complicated.

I have to say that I have small problems with learning Hangul. Mainly it's about pronouncing characters properly. What makes things harder, I don't have any source of mp3 with Korean sentences or whatever.

【エヂット】

Today I revised vocabulary and add some new words. I have a plan what I'm going to learn daily:
* 10 kanji
* 3 lessons from "Wybór ćwiczeń"
* 2 lessons from Ewa Krassowska-Mackiewicz's books
* 50 new words
* 1 lesson from "Elementary Korean"

and that's how I should make it in time.

Today I know:
* 720 words approx.
* 20 kanji

Yesterday I didn't have time to make a not of my achievements so I will do it now.

What I've learnt:
* 50 new words
* 10 new kanji with their meanings (couldn't find too many readings on those, even though they are basics)
* 4 lessons from Mackiewicz's Book
* no Korean

I think that I will change my schedule a little. Because school has already started, I don't have as much time as I had before. That's why I will have to delete Korean from my goals or just wait with it to the weekend.

Today I know:
* 780 words approx.
* 40 kanji

And books:
   1. "Język japoński dla początkujących" Ewa Krassowska-Mackiewicz 27/30
   2. "Język japoński dla średniozaawansowanych" Ewa Krassowska-Mackiewicz 15/30
   3. "Praktyczny kurs gramatyki języka japońskiego. Wybór ćwiczeń" praca zbiorowa 45/133

Yesterday my internet didn't work so obviously I wasn't able to make a note here.
Here it is:

Yesterday's achievements
* 50 new words
* 20 new kanji with their meanings
* 5 lessons from Mackiewicz's Book
* no Korean

Today I know:
* 830 words approx.
* 60 kanji

And books:
   1. "Język japoński dla początkujących" Ewa Krassowska-Mackiewicz 27/30
   2. "Język japoński dla średniozaawansowanych" Ewa Krassowska-Mackiewicz 20/30
   3. "Praktyczny kurs gramatyki języka japońskiego. Wybór ćwiczeń" praca zbiorowa 45/133

PS Ohh I think that I'm losing my motivation. Everyone tells me that Ilearn too fast all that stuff and that nothing of it will stay in my head. Do you think so too?

If you keep up your momentum, you should be fine. If you don't, learning slower wouldn't help.

So I finished today one of my goals:
2. "Język japoński dla średniozaawansowanych" Ewa Krassowska-Mackiewicz 30/30

Yatta!
But I don't know If I have a reason to be happy, because I didn't learn any vocabulary and kanji at all. So I know 830 words and 60 kanji, just like it was before.But the day didn't end yet so I have time to work on that, we will see.

I have a problem with learning vocabulary. I don't have any particular method, so maybe that's why. Can you recommend something?
