Right now, I can understand 40–80% of French news radio, and about 20–40% of French
movie dialog. I have good strategies for improving the former (basically, read a lot of
news with a pop-up dictionary).

But CEFRL says that if I want to reach B2, I should be able to "understand the majority
of films in standard dialect." Frankly, this seems much harder than everything else on
the B2 skills list. But I'd love to do it.

I'd love to find a couple of good French TV series, well-suited to an intermediate
student. And I need subtitles so I can load them into LingQ and look stuff up.

Would Engrenages be worthwhile for an intermediate student, or is it way too
hard? What else might be interesting?
