I want to know if there is a correlation between love of languages & linguistics and the *NT* temperament in the MBTI.
If you don't know what MBTI is, check this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Briggs_Type_Indicator
If you don't know your type, take this quick test (4 questions only):

Or this longer - and more accurate - one:

Just to let you know, the psych test link was flagged as unsafe by my anti-virus program.
Be careful, everyone.

I'm an ISTP, took three tests that I found because I couldn't bring myself to trust a
test that lumped so many things together... And it seems I'm probably an ISTP, with
strong tendencies toward INTP.
I really liked this test because it places you on
a sliding percentage scale for each of the four characteristics, so you can see how
solidly you fall into each of the categories you're placed into. For example, I fell over
85% onto most of the ISTP categories, except that I'm close to the edge of the
sensing/intuition one. So I could almost be an INTP.

INFP, with the only clear preference being perception over judgement. When I took such tests some years ago I had to find out that being at almost 50% on E/I and F/T means that it really depends on my mood where I end up. It's kind of a joke :D

I put myself down for INTP, because it's the result I always get on these tests.
On the test linked by unityandoutside, I was 50% Thinking and 50% Feeling.
