Countdown to Stockholm: 19 days
This is a formality rather than a real update. My week has been useless. I have stayed
on top of my Anki reviews and listened to Klartext twice, but that's it. In my defense
(and I know that I'm only justifying this to myself), I have been travelling, and then
without a computer. I am back now, with all the necessary materials.
HOWEVER: I have a very important exam at the end of August, and it will require all my
spare time. My countdown to Stockholm will therefore not really serve as an endpoint.
My serious study of Swedish will resume after the 24th. So...
Goal(s) for the next 17 days:
- Do my Anki reps religiously

No more countdown!
As promised, I'm back.
The new plan is set, but it doesn't include a time limit. I'm started work on a
research project next week, and I have no idea how much time it will leave me for
language learning. However, Swedish is still in my top 3 priorities, and since I am now
living in Sweden, it should be easier to sneak in some learning during odd moments of
the day.
Plan:
- Listen to Klartext (nyheterna på ett enklara sätt) every weekday, and add unknown
words to my Anki deck
- Finish the FSI book and redo all the exercises
- Get my copy of "Perfymen" back from my friend and so some real reading
- Take a B2 level class paid for by my school
- Sign up at the library and take out a gajillion kids' books

Good luck with the new plan and this project, and hope you're already settling in. Stockholm is a great city (especially when it lets the sunshine in)!

Hello Snoogles,
I'm also someone living in France and who fell in love with Swedish culture. I have read your plan and your improvement and your will utterly amazed me. I'm looking for a Swedish Anki deck, can you share yours ?

I've just shared my deck on the Anki shared deck system thingie. It's called "Snoogles'
Swedish vocabulary". I hope it's helpful.
I'll also take this opportunity to close down this thread for good. I won't be updating
anymore, as the title of the thread is no longer applicable. Hopefully as I get my New
Year's resolutions in order, there'll be room for some more language learning and some
more frequent updates!
