How useful are parallel texts, and how would you use them, if you don't have the audio book in L2? I have texts in both languages for some things I want to read but no audio for them in L2, only English.

I've bought a couple of books in Russia with just amazing parallel texts in different
languages from different classic authors. I think it's called the method of Iliya Frank
and you can find it online for free somewhere.
