Over the past several years I have had an interest in studying Japanese and have wanted to improve myself in the language for quite sometime. I’ve taken multiple classes but in the end I find myself only going so far and failing to keep up the momentum in studying. I always drop off for months at a time and forget what I have learned. This has been going on since 2004 and I would really like to improve. In addition I took the JLPT level 4 (which is the lowest level) and failed twice in 2005 and 2007. I want to dedicate myself to learning Japanese to fluency, and I want constantly improve. I created this thread to help push me towards improving my Japanese ability daily.
In addition I want to start studying some Chinese and Korean after I get further in Japanese.
My materials are:
Remembering The Kanji Vol. 1 and 2
Japanese for everyone
Understanding Basic Japanese Grammar
Hopefully with these materials and with the use of Anki I can be able to build proficiency up to where I want it to be. This is the time to succeed!

I started making a list of random Japanese words that I am coming across online.
I'm lining it up like this:
身体 からだ
教案 きょあん
初回 しょかい
生産 せいさん
限定 げんてい
etc..
Also I will start back up going over RTK regularly in the next day or so.

「体」 alone is 「からだ」
and you missed an 「う」 in 「教案」

身体 is also read からだ. Not exactly sure of the difference between the two though. Perhaps I might be right is saying that 身体 tends to be used more often in a strictly physiological, medical sense?

BUMP, I really didn't focus and now I have fallen off the track.
In order to get back on track I'm going to try RTK, with Basic Japanese Grammar and daily
work myself up. Along with this i will surround myself with more Japanese media in order
to further my progress.
I can't slack off anymore!
