Look up videos on youtube, and just practice. Once I understood how to do it it came pretty quickly to me, but I've heard of some people having trouble with it. |

Yeah~ I have trouble with it in German, French, and Dutch! I tried several methods that are said to be very useful, but unfortunately nothing worked with me so far. Anyway, I'm still trying, and can feel it getting somewhat better, fairly slowly though :)

This excercise may help:
Pronounce an ordinary English R, but hold the pronounciation. While doing so move the tip of your tongue slightly foreward so that it touches the front part of the palate or the backside of your upper gum.
Then something like a rolled R will come out easily.

There's a very common rhyme taught to children in Spanish-speaking countries that, if you'll memorize it and just remember to practice it daily whenever you've got some free time for 10 seconds, will help you out a lot:
Erre con Erre Cigarro
Erre con Erre Barril
RĂ¡pido ruedan las ruedas
Sobre los rieles del ferrocarril
which translates to:
"R with R" cigar
"R with R" barrel
Quickly run the cars,
Over the rails of the railroad.
