I'm still trying to figure out how to get all my studying in on weekdays. I hope I won't need to cut back on my goals during the week, but if I have to then I have to.

Hey !
Thanks for your comment on my log. I read your log, pretty impressive :). Keep it along !
But I have something for you : a poem that every child knew (at least, 20 years ago). I have it from a friend of mine who grew up in Armenia and learned Russian.
Miška
Uranili mišku na pol
Atarvili miški lapu
Fsio ravno jivo ni brošu
Patamu šta on kharoši
Unfortunately, I haven't cyrillic on my keyboard. So, I transcripted it in Serbo-croatian letters (sh = š...). I hope you understand it.
I learned it on Tchaïkovski Rythmus, and if I forgot all my Russian, that stick in my head :).
Paka !

Hvala! Спасибо!
Thanks so much for the poem! The only words I have problems with are Atarvili and jivo. Do you know their English translation?
Hvala lijepa! Спасибо большое!

Whipback, I can't tell you how impressed I am with your dedication. You are quite inspiring. In just the few months since you started your log, you've accomplished so much! Well done!
Is school starting for you soon? If so, I wonder if you'll need to modify your Russian studies to accommodate your other classwork. But I'm 100% sure, with your determination, you'll find a way to get it all in. Keep up the good work! You have a fan :).

Thanks so much! School started two weeks ago. I haven't been able to get all of my Russian studies in along with my homework, but I still have a few methods to try before I decide whether or not to cut back on my studies. If I do cut back on my studies do you think I should do a little bit of everything every day or work on one skill in detail every day through out the week?

Well, for a moment here, let me put on my mom-hat and say, as much enjoyment as you're obviously getting from your Russian studies, the formal schoolwork has to come first. Of course, you've already demonstrated that you're ambitious, dedicated, motivated and very disciplined, so I'm sure I don't need to remind you of that.
Ok, mom-hat removed. If I were you, I'd probably work on just 1 Russian item (maybe 2, on a light homework night) during the weeknights and save the more intense study for the weekends. Don't forget to leave time for socializing and other activities, too! Oops, mom-hat slipped on there (/wink). Basically, play it by ear. I'm confident you'll sort it all out and hit a comfortable balance by mid-semester.

Atarvili = Oтoрфвали (er hat abgerissen)
eгo = jivo (it)
I hope it helps ;)

Atarvili miški lapu - Оторвали мишке лапу, so it's "they tore off miška's paw", I think :) It's a well-known child rhyme.;)
