I probably wouldn't, but if I did, I'd want it to be another language that is considered quite "complex", like Hungarian, Russian, Mandarin Chinese or something. The latter two would also be beneficial in that they'd give easy access to writing systems other than the Latin alphabet. Then again with a new native language would also most likely come a new native land, and since my country's living standards are very high and it's a great place in general, I probably wouldn't want to be born anywhere else.

English and Mandarin? No way; you know why I wouldn't change either of these! :D I'm just a bit sad that my mom
didn't become fluent in Japanese (she had parents who spoke it fluently due to the Japanese occupation of Taiwan,
and studied it for two years at her university and was praised by her prof). I could've been trilingual since birth :(

I would definitively like to trade my french for arabic ( with gulf, levantine or iraqi dialecy ) ... Or maybe a small
language nearly no one knows ( and being bilingual in arabic anyway ! ).
