I am still working on my compiled dictionary from various sources, adding the words to the Saami one, and making the English equivalent one at the same time.

Yesterday I found out that words English-speakers make when they don't bother looking for Saami alphabet letters are not the same translations.
Saami letters= á,č,đ,ŋ,š,ŧ,ž

For example, Báiki is the home you take with you in your heart. Baiki is dung.

Another interesting thing I came across lately is that there are different words for grandmother, father's mother and mother's mother. Yet there is only one word for Great-grandmother, not four different words (or five if there would be a word for step-grandmother).

Mii fár'ret boahttevahkus. Mii boahttit buktinbiila buozahit tundra. Mangngil nubbi boahtit sparrodeaddu ovdal.

If that makes sense then I said it correctly.

Hey Kafea !

It's actually the first time that I comment your log. Just wanted to say that "Baiki" = "the home you take with you in your heart" is an awesome word !!! Thanks for that !

No, no, Kisfröccs! Báiki spelled with "á" is "the home you take with you in your heart"; baiki spelled with "a" is sh--! Sometimes sh-- is spelled baika.
