I'm really looking forward to starting it. Even the website with all the audio is slick. Though it may not be terribly

Another interesting log on this team. I think I would follow all of our team's logs even if I wasn't on the team. I'm especially interested in your Slovak progress and Ukrainian to a slightly lesser extent. I'm also constantly trying to improve my Slovak and watch a lot of Slovak TV.
Did you speak Slovak as a very young child or has English always been the main language for you? Do you understand it well? What about Czech? Do you understand that at all as a result of your Slovak abilities? I'm looking forward to being on your team. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

My Slovak abilities are mainly passive. I understand most standard Slovak but the
Eastern dialects are really difficult for me. I do have some active ability, I've studied the differences between Slovak and Czech and am always taking note of different vocabulary. I can speak at a very basic level but Czech heavily influences my active Slovak. Can you understand Slovak films or radio? Have you been to Slovakia? 1 person has voted this message useful |
