I've been debating between adding Polish or Russian (now that I decided to put Portuguese on hold). For so long, I was afraid of both of them. So I say go for it. =) For me, I am making myself finish Assimil first, for Spanish, French, German, and Italian. I can already read the Spanish with little problem, but I feel like I need to nail down better study habits, and fill in all the holes in my grammar and vocab. I have all the HP books (plus audio) in all my target languages. (I can't find the audio for the Croatian, though. I don't think there is an audio version, unfortunately!) I think I'm going to try and get 2-3 Spanish lessons done every day for a week or two, though.
