@Randwulf: Many thanks. The description of what you did is very helpful. Your study program you did is surprisingly close to what I am currently doing. I've already done lots of extensive listening via TV/movies; lots of reading - and now actively reading the newspaper each day (die Zeit) - and using the Firefox extension Firelang to create Anki cards for review from the paper; trying to write 100-200 words per day; speaking German each day.
I've only just started the writing and it is difficult, but hopefully I'll experience the sort of improvements you report in the next couple of months. 1 person has voted this message useful |
